Sporting Kansas City announced today the launch of the Sporting U Pass, a new season-long initiative for college students to purchase $15 tickets in the Supporters’ Stand at Children’s Mercy Park for home matches during the 2023 Major League Soccer season.

Students at more than 240 universities across the country are eligible to receive the exclusive ticket offer through the Sporting U Pass by entering their school email address. Additional colleges will be added throughout the season upon request.

Sporting U Pass tickets are currently available for Sporting’s first four home matches, including the team’s highly-anticipated home opener on March 11 against the LA Galaxy and a match-up with the reigning Concacaf Champions League winners Seattle Sounders FC on March 25. Tickets for future home matches will become available later in the season and students are encouraged to visit SportingKC.com/Sporting-U-Pass to secure seats as tickets are released throughout the season.

The Sporting U Pass is designed to provide college students with access to tickets in the Supporters’ Stand, which features nine sections of general admission bleachers on the north end of Children’s Mercy Park. All Supporters’ Stand tickets – including those purchased through the Sporting U Pass – provide access to the Budweiser Brew House, a popular pre- and post-match destination with drink specials for fans 21 and over, a dedicated kitchen for serving food and a SportingStyle merchandise stand.
