CHELSEA LOOK TO SHIFT STERLING
At some point amid Chelsea’s splurge, Todd Boehly is going to have to consider selling some players. He can’t give them all eight-year contracts. Can he?

One of the first out of the door could be one of the last in. At least before Boehly started signing all the players this month. According to Football Insider, Chelsea are open to offers for Raheem Sterling.

The England star only moved to Stamford Bridge from Manchester City for £47.5million in the summer, when he signed a five-and-a-half-year contract. But it leaves the Gunners looking for an alternative if Mikel Arteta is determined to bolster his front line.

It has been widely reported that Arsenal have been on the phone to Barcelona to sound them out about signing Raphinha. In the course of those conversations, the Gunners have been told that it would cost them Mudryk money to sign the Brazilian, who only moved to the Nou Camp in the summer from Leeds.

According to 90min, Arsenal also enquired about Ferran Torres, who was also the subject of interest from Arteta during the summer. The Independent says they have also been offered Leandro Trossard, who is acting up at Brighton. Not that they seem to be missing him.

GUNNERS, TOON RIVAL JUVE FOR RIGHT-BACK
Arsenal are being linked with Real Betis winger Luiz Henrique, for whom they must fight Manchester United, says Fichajes. The Gunners are also looking in Spain for a right-back…

The Telegraph reckons the Premier League leaders – and rulers of north London – hold a serious interest in Real Valladolid’s Ivan Fresneda.

They aren’t the 18-year-old’s only admirers….
