Brighton forward Leandro Trossard’s future is under growing uncertainty with the attacker’s involvement in Saturday’s game versus Liverpool in doubt.

The Belgium international is understood to have trained away from the first-team in recent days, though he has been carrying a slight calf injury.

Sources have indicated that Trossard’s lack of involvement in training is a decision taken by manager Roberto De Zerbi amid concerns over the forward’s attitude. Brighton refused to comment when contacted by Sportsmail on Thursday.

Since joining Brighton in 2019 from Genk, Trossard has scored 25 goals made 14 assists in 121 appearances for the club.
