Piers Morgan interview leads to Cristiano Ronaldo ‘divorce’ after a solid case of ‘I told you so’

Cristiano Ronaldo laughs with Jorge Mendes

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly split with his agent Jorge Mendes after his bombshell interview with Piers Morgan led to his Manchester United departure.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you will know that Ronaldo is no longer a Manchester United player after he tore the club a new one during a tell-all interview with his best friend, Piers Morgan.

The 37-year-old told Morgan that he does not “respect” Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag and that the club’s infrastructure was the exact same as when he first joined the club in 2004.

Once that door was closed, ‘no other door would open’, with Mendes clearly p*ssed off that Ronaldo ignored him and got exactly what he knew would happen following the explosive Morgan interview.

The interview ‘accelarated’ Ronaldo’s exit and he actually had ‘frequent’ instances of ‘bad behaviour’, some of which ‘were not made public’, leaving…
