Incoming Maddie Krakower Called Up to Puerto Rican National Team Camp

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Incoming freshman Maddie Krakower has been invited to the Puerto Rican Senior National team camp taking place in Salinas, Puerto Rico from January 9th – 15th.

This camp marks Krakower’s first national team camp prior to her college career after participating in the U20 Puerto Rican National team camp earlier this year. She also competed with the U17 Puerto Rican National team at the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers, recording three goals and two assists. Krakower’s two goals helped the team advance out of group play, while her third goal was a game-winner to send the team to the elite eight.

Krakower will bring her long list of accolades to College Park as she begins off season training with the Terps this spring. The New Jersey Native played her prep career at Cedar Stars Monmouth, while attending DePaul Catholic where she was named to All Passaic County First team and all United Division First Team.
