Angel City Battles Dash to a Draw

December 30, 2022 – National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL)Angel City FC News Release

Here’s to an even better 2023

Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for the New Year!

Looking back on this year, I’ve truly never had so much to be thankful for. More than two years ago, our fans showed up and promised they’d support Angel City FC when we didn’t have a name, a place to play, or a single player. But despite all of that, you were committed to the vision and ready to help make Angel City a reality. Together, we accomplished what some thought was impossible- building a women’s football team with passion and purpose that would make the whole world pay attention.

In our inaugural season, we led with impact, delivered on and off the pitch, and made noise…lots of noise! Starting with our magical home opener to Pride Night to every Fan Fest and postgame party, this year we wrote our own playbook on how to build an inclusive and diverse community. There is nothing like an Angel City game, thanks to all of our fans.

As we wrap up 2022, we wanted to share just how much we accomplished this year together. Thank you for all of your support. We couldn’t do any of this without you.

2023 will be even bigger! The team and club are ready to keep pushing, building, and delivering for you and women’s football. Please enjoy this holiday season, rest up, and get ready.

With incredible gratitude,

Julie

Co-Founder and President
