MLS SuperDraft 2023 Takes Place Today

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes will be participating in MLS SuperDraft 2023 presented by adidas today, Wednesday, Dec. 21, beginning at 2:00 p.m. PT. The Quakes currently hold three total picks (4, 33, and 62) in the three-round event.


San Jose currently has six players on its roster that the team originally acquired in the MLS SuperDraft: Jackson Yueill (2017), Paul Marie (2018), Tanner Beason (2020), Jack Skahan (2020), Ousseni Bouda (2022), and Oskar Ågren (2022).

There are more than 360 players eligible for selection on Wednesday, including players from Stanford, Cal, Santa Clara, San Jose State, University of the Pacific, UC Davis, Sacramento State, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

How to Watch

The first round of MLS SuperDraft 2023 presented by adidas will kick off at 2:00 p.m. PT on Wednesday, Dec. 21, with SuperDraft Pre-Show coverage streaming live onMLSSoccer.com, the MLS App, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook, beginning at 1:30 p.m. PT. The broadcast will be hosted by Andrew Wiebe alongside Matt Doyle, Devon Kerr, Susannah Collins, and Jillian Sakovits and will feature live look-ins inside club draft headquarters, video feeds and interviews from draftees and on-location reporters following the day’s top stories.

In addition, the MLS SuperDraft Tracker will update every pick from each round in real time.
