Sounders FC Launches Updated Mobile App Packed with New Features

SEATTLE, WASH. – Seattle Sounders FC today announced the launch of an updated Sounders FC mobile app. The app includes a multitude of new features, including exciting ways for fans to personalize their Rave Green experience and new elements to create a more seamless and enjoyable matchday, whether taking in the match from Lumen Field or keeping up with the game from anywhere in the world.

To explore the app, those who currently have the Sounders FC mobile app installed on their devices need only visit their app store and update to the newest version. Those downloading the app for the first time will automatically access the updates. The app is available in both the iOS and Google Play stores.

One of the most significant updates fans will notice is the new ability to set up a detailed user profile. Within this user profile, there are fun and helpful features, including:

Fans can share their birthday to receive customized messages from the club or players.

Select a favorite player to customize the in-app experience. Not only will certain content then specifically feature the selected player, but, starting with the 2023 season, users can access a curated news feed specific to that player to allow them to more closely follow relevant updates. This feature can be unlocked upon profile creation.

Download custom phone wallpapers, with new options added continuously and tailored to celebrate club moments throughout the season.

iOS users have the ability to select their app icon from a variety of choices.

Users can connect their profile to Ticketmaster to access mobile ticketing, Alliance Member discount cards, unique ticketholder benefits and more.

The new app also comes with enhanced push notifications for fans to customize the type of news they want to hear from the club. Users can personalize push notifications to provide only the updates each user individually selects. From notifications based on location – giving in-stadium fans the ability to receive important messages pertaining to on-site matchday elements that other users outside of Lumen Field might not need – to specifying what sort of in-game updates a user may or may not want to receive, the personalized push notification system provides fans with a holistic experience.
