Inter Miami CF Signs Academy Product Benjamin Cremaschi as Homegrown Player

MIAMI – Inter Miami CF announced today that it has signed Academy graduate Benjamin Cremaschi as a Homegrown Player to a contract running through the 2025 Major League Soccer (MLS) season, with options for 2026 and 2027. The Key Biscayne, Florida native of Argentine heritage marks the fifth Inter Miami CF Academy product to sign for the First Team before its fourth season in MLS.


“Benjamin is a really exciting young talent that we believe in. He’s a young midfielder who has improved so much in such a short period of time and we’re very excited to continue to help his development now with the First Team,” said Inter Miami CF Chief Soccer Officer and Sporting Director Chris Henderson. “This is another positive step for our development pathway as we look to continue to find and develop the best young players in South Florida.”

Cremaschi, 17, joined Inter Miami in August 2021 and rapidly ascended through the Club’s youth ranks. He starred at the U-17 level, where he helped guide the team to the GA Cup semifinal and earned an MLS NEXT All-Star nod; in the All-Star game, Cremaschi scored an equalizing goal en route to a victory for the East. The midfielder also excelled at the MLS NEXT Pro level with Inter Miami CF II, making his professional debut and going on to tally five goals and one assist in just 743 minutes of play across 13 appearances, eight of them starts.

“I’m happy and excited to start next year in January in preseason with the First Team to start preparing and learning from the most experienced players and Phil [Neville],” said Cremaschi. “Signing for my hometown team, playing at home in front of my family and friends is a dream come true.”

Prior to joining Inter Miami, Cremaschi featured for Inter Miami CF Academy Key Partner Club Weston FC for three years. With the club, he helped guide its U-16 team to the 2021 MLS NEXT Cup title, claiming the Golden Ball award as the tournament’s best player. Before joining Weston, he spent his entire youth career with another Academy Partner Club, Key Biscayne Soccer Club.

Cremaschi’s rapid rise has also seen him star on the youth international stage, receiving several call-ups to the U.S. U-19 Men’s Youth National Team, and most recently, the U.S. U-20 MYNT.
