INDIANAPOLIS/MIDDLEBURY, Ind. – Indy Eleven is proud to welcome Indiana Fire Academy North of Elkhart County as the newest member of the Indy Eleven Youth Soccer Program.
The Indy Eleven Youth Soccer Program is designed to increase accessibility to soccer in communities and encourage players, coaches, referees, and parents to grow their passion for the sport by supporting the recreational soccer programs at member clubs.
“It is important for Indy Eleven to reach out to every corner of the state if we truly want to be Indiana’s Team, and the addition of Indiana Fire Academy North into our Youth Soccer Program provides our first official presence in the Michiana area. We thank IFA-North for their partnership and look forward to growing the sport together in Elkhart County alongside their dedicated players, coaches, volunteers, and families,” said Greg Stremlaw, Indy Eleven President and Chief Executive Officer.
Indiana Fire Academy North is, fittingly, the eleventh club to join Indy Eleven’s grass roots initiative that will continue to grow annually and support more than 15,000 young players at the recreational level across the State of Indiana.
Founded in 1995 as Magic Soccer Club, Indiana Fire Academy North is a nonprofit organization with the mission to promote the growth of soccer in the community and provide all children, regardless of economic circumstances, with the opportunity to develop to their full potential both on and off the field. The club features a comprehensive player development pathway with Recreation, Rec+, and travel programming, from ages 4-19. This year, more than 600 youth players participated in Magic SC’s soccer programs.
