The first week of the World Cup has already come and gone, and delivered some tremendous football to thrill fans worldwide. But the action is far from over, as more matches to determine who moves on and who goes home lie ahead. Sunday, November 26: Argentina v Mexico

The match many have been waiting for in Group C wraps up Sunday’s action from Al Daayen – Leo Messi and Argentina taking on El Tri. Circled in red for all interested since the schedule was revealed, Mexico will be looking to prove they can compete for all 90 minutes with a perennial juggernaut. They will need a full-squad effort to do so, especially since Argentina needs a victory after their shocking defeat to Saudi Arabia.

This winner of this match may very well determine what squad claims the top spot in the group.

Tuesday, November 28: Korea Republic v Ghana

The draw of Neymar and Brazil, or Ronaldo and Portugal may interest the masses a bit more later in the morning. But in an up-for-grabs Group H, this contest between two solid squads could have some significant implications. Ghana and Korea seldom face off, as well, so the match should provide more of what world football fans love to see, and what this World Cup has provided – another well played match.
