Six Blue Devils Nominated for CSA Academic All-District


DURHAM – Six members of the Duke women’s soccer program – Delaney Graham, Maggie Graham, Katie Groff, Ruthie Jones, Sophie Jones and Mackenzie Pluck – have been nominated for the College Sports Communicators 2022 Academic All-District honors.  All six will now move on to the ballot for CSC Academic All-America, which will be announced in December.

The 2022 Academic All-District Women’s Soccer nominees were submitted by College Sports Communicators and recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

Delaney Graham, a product of Atlanta, Ga., is coming off being named College Sports Communicators Academic All-America in each of her last two years.  All six Blue Devil nominees feature at least a 3.7 grade-point average or higher.  

Eighth-ranked and second-seeded Duke (13-4-3) continue postseason play against No. 16 Texas (15-2-4) on Friday, Nov. 18 at 6:30 p.m., at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, N.C., in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
