Ronaldo meets with Bayern Munich, Man Utd battle Arsenal for Mudryk

Cristiano Ronaldo looks frustrated

Did Bayern Munich know of Cristiano Ronaldo’s plans last week? Man Utd are already moving on to an Arsenal target…

CHELSEA, BAYERN LINKED WITH RONALDO
What next for Cristiano?

After the Portuguese megastar needlessly torched his bridges at Old Trafford by sitting down with Piers sodding Morgan, Manchester United are assessing their options. The Telegraph says the Red Devils will wait to see the interviews in full before taking action, but it’s thought the club could look to terminate their No.7’s contract.

Then what? CBS reckons Chelsea could renew their interest in Ronaldo now Thomas Tuchel isn’t around to get in the way. Though Ronaldo doesn’t exactly strike us as Graham Potter’s type either.

Bayern Munich backed away from Ronaldo in the summer after initially considering it then deciding, quite rightly, that it’s a terrible idea since such a move did not fit their ‘philosophy’. The Germans would like to renew his deal but the opportunity to land Ronaldo could change that, clearing a path for United to move for the former Stoke centre-forward.

United are also being linked with morning with Mykhaylo Mudryk.

The Sun says Erik ten Hag has been tracking the Shakhtar star since he was boss at Ajax. Apparently, the United board is similarly keen on the right-footed forward.

Which may or may not make things complicated for Arsenal. The Gunners are currently frontrunners to land Mudryk, who has said he would rather play for Arsenal than sit on Real Madrid’s bench.

SPURS EYE FRANCE FORWARD
Tottenham are also on the look out for a forward. Apparently, they went to check on a couple last Friday…

90min says Spurs scouts were in attendance to watch Marcus Thuram and Youssoufa Moukoko face each other when the former’s Borussia Monchengladbach beat the latter’s Borussia Dortmund.

Moukoko is on the radar of pretty much every major club in Europe, including Liverpool and Manchester United, while the teenager remains on course to become a free agent next summer. Thuram too is also in the…
