EVANSTON, Ill. –– Northwestern cruised to a 3-0 shutout victory Saturday at home at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium.
Northwestern moves onto the second round, where they will take on Vanderbilt on Friday, November 18 at UCLA.
How it Happened
The ‘Cats peppered SIUE for the first half hour, collecting the first five shots, but were unable to find a breakthrough.
Northwestern broke the deadlock when Meg Boade recorded her seventh goal of the season in the 38th minute, assisted by Ella Hase and Caterina Regazzoni.

The Wildcats went up 2-0 on a goal from Josie Aulicino — her eighth goal of the season — in the 44th minute.

Northwestern extended the lead to 3-0 on Ingrid Falls’ 76th-minute goal, her second of the season. Aulicino assisted the goal.
