Women’s Soccer Adds Three to 2023 Class

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women’s soccer head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes and her staff announced on Wednesday that they have added three players to its 2023 class.

Molly Cochran, Betsy Huckaby and Emma Sanchez are set to join the Cardinals for the 2023 season next fall. Huckaby is a local product from Crestwood, Kentucky, Cochran is from nearby Madeira, Ohio and Sanchez comes from Camas, Washington.

Midfield | 5-8

Hometown: Madeira, Ohio

High School: Madeira High School

Club Team: Ohio Elite

 

Cochran comes to the Cardinals with an impressive resume after playing high school and club in the Cincinnati area. She was an All-American and All-State player her sophomore year and a three-time first team all-conference player. She led Madeira to three district championships during her time there. While playing club for Ohio Elite, she was Ohio Valley ECNL 1st team all-conference and was selected for the 2022 ECNL national selection game in Tennessee.
