Tottenham warned against giving Conte money to spend in January as pundit predicts impending exit

Tottenham told not to back Conte

Tottenham Hotspur have been warned against giving Antonio Conte money to spend in January if he does not extend his contract in the near future.

It is now just over a year since Conte replaced Nuno Espirito Santo at Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs have fared brilliantly under the ex-Chelsea boss overall. He guided them to the top-four last season and they have now qualified for the last-16 stage of the Champions League.

“I think that this group of players are very good, he just needs to trust them a lot more. You can’t just wait until you’re 2-0 down to start playing.

“He keeps talking about how good Liverpool are but Liverpool beat no one away from home this season [until…
