COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State has earned an at-large selection for the 2022 NCAA Tournament and will host Bucknell in the opening round of the tournament on Friday, Nov. 11, at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

This will the Buckeyes’ 16th NCAA Tournament appearance and 12th in the last 14 seasons. All 16 appearances have come under the direction of 26th-year head coach Lori Walker-Hock. The Buckeyes have a record of 13-14-2 in the NCAA Tournament.

“When you start the year out, it’s always one of the objectives to play at home in the NCAA Tournament,” said Walker-Hock. “I’m proud of our players and they’re collective body of work this season. We’ve had some really hard games at home, so we feel pretty prepared for just about anybody at this point in the season.”

“I’m happy for our seniors that decide to stick around,” Walker-Hock continued. “For Olivia (Sensky) and Kat (Robinson), this is their first NCAA opportunity in their 5th year. For our freshmen to have the experience to be at home in the tournament, it just helps set the tone for our program moving forward.”
