CROSSTOWN SHOWDOWN TO CLOSE THE REGULAR SEASON

No. 1-ranked UCLA (17-1-0, 9-1-0 in the Pac-12) will wrap up the 2022 regular season on Friday, Nov. 4 with the Crosstown Showdown at No. 14-ranked USC (11-2-3, 7-1-2). The sold-out match will take place at 2pm at McAlister Field and will be televised live on Pac-12 Network. A UCLA win would clinch at least a share of the Pac-12 title.

PLAYING FOR THE PAC

The Bruins enter the season finale tied for first in the Pac-12 standings with Stanford with 27 points. UCLA is looking to win its third consecutive Pac-12 title, having won the championship outright in both 2021 and 2020.

Lauren Brzykcy picked up her seventh shutout of the season and UCLA’s fourth consecutive.

Additionally, Reale, who played the full 90 in both games, scored the only goal in the 62nd minute to beat the Cougars. It was her first goal of the year and second of her career.
