Arsenal legend Merson explains why ‘tired’ Klopp will leave before he’s sacked at Liverpool

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp makes a face

Arsenal legend Paul Merson thinks the only way Jurgen Klopp will leave Liverpool is if the German decides he’s taken the Premier League club as far as he can.

The Reds have been poor in the Premier League this season, with just four wins in their first 12 fixtures, putting them 15 points behind leaders Arsenal and eight points adrift of fourth-placed Newcastle United.

Klopp’s men looked to be back on track after wins over Manchester City and West Ham earlier this month but back-to-back losses to Nottingham Forest and Leeds United over the last two weekends have seen them take a step backwards.
