  • This will be just the 12th all-time meeting between the two programs and the all-time series is even at 4-4-3. The teams have drawn in the last three meetings, twice during the 2018 season and then earlier this season on Oct. 8.
  • The Buckeyes are 2-2-1 all-time in Lincoln, with wins coming in 2012 and 2017.
  • In the meeting earlier this season, Emma Sears and Kayla Fischer each had a goal and an assist as the Buckeyes led 2-1 with under 10 minutes to play. But Nebraska got the equalizer in short time and the teams drew for the third consecutive meeting.
  • Ohio State has an all-time record of 13-14-5 in the Big Ten Tournament with three titles coming in 2002, 2004 and 2012.
  • This will be the third meeting in the Big Ten Tournament between the Buckeyes and Cornhuskers. 10 years ago, the Buckeyes won their most recent tournament title and their run started with a 2-0 win over Nebraska.
  • Ohio State dropped its final two matches of the regular season but has turned the page and is ready for a postseason run.
  • The Buckeyes were fourth in the conference during the regular season and scored 41 goals on the year.
  • Nebraska had an interesting final three matches of the regular season. The Cornhuskers lost 4-0 to Iowa before rallying for a big 4-2 win over Penn State. Despite losing 4-1 to Wisconsin in the regular season finale, the Huskers ended as the No. 4 seed and are hosting a quarterfinal match.
  • Kayla Fischer and Talani Barnett were both named first team All-Big Ten this week and they headline a group of seven Buckeyes to receive All-Big Ten accolades this fall. Emma Sears was named to the second team and Kine Flotre claimed third team honors. Mirann Gacioch, Molly Pritchard and Brooke Otto were all named to the All-Freshman Team.
