The River Hawks are 2-8-4 overall this season, and 0-3-2 against America East opponents.  UMass Lowell has not recorded a victory since October 5, 3-1 over former America East rival Hartford.  UMass Lowell’s leading scorer is Borna Miklic, who has five goals and four assists on the season, while two other River Hawks have scored four goals each.  The River Hawks are 1-3-1 since that victory, and have been outscored 12-2.  UAlbany is 6-5-0 since the 2013 season against UMass Lowell, with the teams splitting each of the last four meetings.
 
Last Time vs. UMass Lowell
October 13, 2021 | UAlbany kicked off a two-game home stand against UMass Lowell on October 13, and defeated the River Hawks by a final score of 2-1.  The Great Danes found themselves in an early hole following a defensive miscue in the fourth minute that led to a River Hawk goal.  UAlbany tied the game in the 38th on a corner kick from Pantelis Panteli, redirected into the net by Neophytos Scottis.  After halftime, in the 81st minute, Haflidi Sigurdarson set up Saad Faiz to put UAlbany up 2-1 and clinch the victory.  For Scottis and Faiz, it was their first goal as members of the UAlbany program.
 
Last Time Out
The Great Danes visited NJIT in the first meeting between the teams since the Highlanders upset UAlbany in the 2021 America East quarterfinal round.  The first half of the game produced little action on goal, with a combined six shots and one corner kick between the two teams.  Pace increased after halftime, with 14 shots taken and five corner kicks drawn in the second 45 minutes.  UAlbany broke the scoreless tie on a sequence started by freshman forward Jackson Finn, relayed by junior midfielder Elias Ehlin, setting up a game-winning goal by
