CLEMSON, S.C. — The  Clemson Tigers will host NC State on Friday night in the regular season finale at Historic Riggs Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m., with Senior Night celebrations set to begin at 6:30. The match will stream on ACCNX.

The Tigers enter the match 9-5-1 (2-4-1 ACC) following a victory on Monday over UMass. The Tigers currently sit in fourth place in the Atlantic Division, and can earn a home match in the ACC tournament with a win and either a North Carolina or Notre Dame loss/draw. NC State (6-5-4, 1-4-2 ACC) is just behind Clemson in the Atlantic division in fifth place.

Friday marks the 65th meeting between the longtime conference foes, with Clemson leading the series 42-15-7. The Tigers are outscoring NC State 169-75 and have won 13 of the last 14 matches, including each of the last five. Last season, Clemson defeated the Wolfpack 2-0 on the road, and Clemson has not allowed a goal to NC State in any of the last five matches.

Tigers’ standout Ousmane Sylla has led the way for Clemson, scoring five goals and notching six assists in 13 matches thus far. He has tallied a point in eight of his 13 games played this season and is sixth in the ACC in points per game (1.23).

He is joined at the top of Clemson’s scoring leaderboard by senior forward Mohamed Seye, who has assisted three of Sylla’s goals. He’s added three of his own and has also earned four points in two matches, bringing his point total on the season to ten. He and Sylla are both tied for third most assists in the conference with six.

NC State enters Frida’s match coming off a 2-0 home win vs. Radford. Clemson will look for its first ACC victory since it defeated North Carolina 1-0 on October 3.
