CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s soccer team heads to Syracuse, N.Y. at the SU Soccer Stadium on Friday, Oct. 14. The match is set to kick off at 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ACCNX.

This marks the ninth time that the Tigers and Orange will meet, with Clemson leading the series, 7-0-1 and winning the last three matches. Most recently Clemson defeated Syracuse 8-0 in Clemson in 2021 with Hal Hershfelt registering the brace to lead the Tigers to victory. Graduate forward Chelsea Domond and sophomore forward Erin Flurey lead Syracuse with 15 and nine points, respectively. Freshman goalkeeper Shae Vanderbosch has 54 saves and seven wins to her name.

Most recently the Tigers picked up two straight wins over Louisville and No. 24 Virginia Tech. Megan Bornkamp, Maliah Morris, Hershfelt and Makenna Morris all scored during the two match span. Bornkamp recorded her 50th career point in the victory over Louisville while junior goalkeeper Halle Mackiewicz registered a season-high seven saves against the Cardinals.
