This game will be played at Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky at 7:30pm, with streaming and broadcast available on TV20 and ESPN+.

This past Saturday, DCFC played Loudoun United at Segra Field in Leesburg, Virginia that ended in a dominating 4-0 win for Le Rouge and earned them three important points. The first goal came off a nice passing sequence of play down the right side of the field which ended with forward Yazeed Matthews taking a shot outside the box and scoring the first goal of the evening at the 8′ minute mark. The assist came to midfielder Cy Goddard, who had a nice give and go with Matthews. With his first goal of three on the night, midfielder Maxi Rodriguez slotted the ball to the bottom right corner, after nice pressure on the ball from midfielder Abdoulaye Diop. Forward Francis Atuahene passed a through ball to Rodriguez to take a 2-0 lead. In the 66′ minute, City scored on a set piece. Forward Antoine Hoppenot took the corner that found the head of defender Matt Lewis, who was able to get it to Rodriguez, who then headed it into the net for his 2nd goal of the evening. Rodriguez’s hat-trick goal came when Hoppenot was able to draw the Loudoun goalkeeper out of the net and then passed it to Rodriguez who was easily able to score.

Detroit now has a 14-12-6 record, which has them currently sitting in fifth place in the USL Championship Eastern Conference, 12 points off first place Louisville City.
