It’s time for international football, with the UEFA Nations League taking centre-stage this week.

Across the continent, there are battles for qualification and scraps to avoid relegation, with some heavy hitters finding themselves in a surprising amount of trouble as we head into the final two games of the group stage.

Here’s everything you need to know about the fifth round of fixtures.

World champions France have just two points from their opening four games and will be relegated to the B-tier if they are beaten by Austria, who themselves will tumble into the relegation spot with a defeat.

A win will send Denmark through to the next stage of the competition, but Croatia could take top spot with a victory of their own. The Danes will meet France later this week and so would like to get the job done here.

The Dutch are flying at the top of group 4 and will fancy themselves as favourites against a Poland side whose focus is more on making sure they do not tumble below Wales and into the relegation spot.

Belgium are three points behind The Netherlands, who they will meet on Sunday, and they’ll expect a win against a Wales side who sit bottom of Group 4 with one solitary point. If Poland get anything from their game, Wales are done.

The Euro 2020 finalists square off on Friday in a battle for survival. England are bottom with two points and will be relegated if Italy secure all three.

Top-of-the-table Hungary come into this one just a single point ahead of Germany and will need a big result here is they are to keep their spot by the end of the night.
