Scouting New Hampshire
The Wildcats are 3-4-0 entering conference play and most recently snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-1 victory over Boston University at home.  New Hampshire lost each game in its skid 1-0, to Central Connecticut State and Northeastern at home and to Merrimack on the road.  New Hampshire has scored just eight goals on the season, one fewer than the Great Danes, but have only given up seven.  Meghan Guarente accounts for three of the Wildcats’ eight goals.  After finishing in 6-9-4 in 2021 and advancing to the America East title game, New Hampshire was picked third in this season’s Preseason Coaches’ Poll.  UAlbany is 9-11-2 against New Hampshire in the program’s Division I era.
 
Last Time vs. New Hampshire
The Great Danes returned home after spending their previous three games on the road to host New Hampshire in their second America East game of 2021.  Jasmine Colbert scored her fifth goal of the season, matching her total from the spring, but New Hampshire scored in the 82nd minute to tie the game.  The Wildcats had a chance to win in regulation on a breakaway that came up short, and for the second-straight game UAlbany went into overtime.  Neither team was able to score, despite a 6-3 shot advantage following regulation for the Great Danes, and the game ended in a 1-1 tie.
 
Last Time Out
UAlbany secured its second victory of the season, knocking off visiting Wagner 4-1.  Three Great Danes, Marisa Tava, Sahara Zingano, and Emily Jozak, scored, with the team’s final score coming via a Wagner own-goal.  UAlbany controlled the game from the opening…
