Colorado Rapids Academy Product Adam Beaudry Called up to Compete with the U.S. Soccer U-17 Men’s Youth National Team 

Ten Rapids Academy Products Sign to Elite College Soccer Programs

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. – Colorado Rapids Academy product Adam Beaudry has been called up to compete with the U.S. Soccer U-17 Men’s Youth National Team in the Vaclav Jezek Youth Tournament. Beaudry, U-17 goalkeeper, will participate in the event on September 16-26, in Zlin, Czech Republic, under head coach Gonzalo Segares. The U.S. is set to compete against Slovakia on September 21, Germany on September 23, and Czech Republic on September 25.


Beaudry joined the Colorado Rapids Academy as a U-16 player after spending a majority of his youth career with Real Colorado. The young goalkeeper was recently called up to the U.S. Soccer U-17 Men’s Youth National Team Domestic Camp where he trained for a week in Chula Vista, California, under head coach Gonzalo Segares. Beaudry also earned the honor of competing in the inaugural MLS NEXT All-Star Game as a part of the 23-man roster representing the West on August 10, 2022, in Blaine, Minnesota, at the National Sports Center. Beaudry recorded 45 minutes of play and made two saves during the match.

During the 2021-2022 season, Beaudry has appeared in 10 matches, amassing a total of 900 minutes on the pitch for the Rapids U-17 Academy team. He has also trained consistently with the Rapids 2 team in MLS NEXT Pro and made his professional debut on July 27, 2022, playing 45 minutes in the team’s match versus Premier League 2 side Wolves U-21.

Adam has had a busy year with call ups to the Youth National Team Camp and MLS NEXT All-Star game.The opportunity to travel and compete with the team at the Vaclav Jezek Youth Tournament will be another great developmental opportunity for Adam.”
