Contracts

Grimsby Town have given extended deals to their manager Paul Hurst and his assistant Chris Doig.

AC Milan midfielder Rade Krunic has signed a 3-year deal.

Alejandro Frances has signed a new contract with Real Zaragoza which will expire in 2025.

Bournemouth defender Chris Mepham has also signed a deal running until 2025.

Transfers

Besiktas have signed Nathan Redmond from Southampton on a free transfer in a move that will have cheered up every Saints fan! Especially the news that they were not required to pay someone to take him off their hands.

The transfer window spending saw agents earn over £430m according to FIFA. I do use earn in a very loose sense in that sentence.

The transfer window might well be shut now but Nottingham Forest have not stopped signing players. They have now signed 22 since getting promoted back to the Premier League, with free agent former Tottenham Hotspur right-back Serge Aurier joining. Aurier was released by Villareal in the summer and seems an odd signing, to be polite.

Free agent Australian international midfielder Massimo Luongo has signed for Middlesbrough on a short-term deal which will expire in January.

Forest Green Rovers have added free agent Sean O’Brien to their ranks. The forward was released by Millwall after coming through their academy.

After being released by Oxford United in the summer, Sam Winnall has re-signed for Burton Albion.

Norwich City winger Milot Rashica has joined Galatasaray on loan. Also moving to Gala on loan is Paris Saint-Germain misfit Mauro Icardi and veteran former Manchester United and Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata.

Ankaragucu have signed Kevin Malcuit on a free transfer from Napoli.

Fulham have loaned winger Ivan Cavaleiro to Alanyaspor.

Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic has moved to Sharjah FC on a free transfer.
