Leeds United will sign a striker on deadline day after all as they have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Willy Gnonto from Swiss side Willy Gnonto.
The West Yorkshire outfit have had a very dramatic deadline day.
It emerged in the morning that Leeds had come to a €10m agreement with Marseille to sign their forward Bamba Dieng.

The player was set to travel to Leeds to conclude the deal until it emerged that he began negotiating with Nice while at the airport.
Leeds were understandably ‘furious’ at this and they subsequently withdrew their interest.
In a very amusing turn of events, Dieng failed his medical at Nice so after all that he is staying on at Marseille. What a colossal waste of time.
A priority for Leeds has been to sign a new forward and Jesse Marsch stated on Thursday that “there is a lot going on” behind the scenes to make that happen:
“I’m not really ready to comment at all on transfers because I haven’t spoken to (director of football) Victor (Orta),” Marsch told reporters
“We got off the training pitch and I know there’s a lot going on at Elland Road, but I haven’t heard exactly what yet.
“No comment because there is so much going on at Elland Road. I know Victor is active. We spoke when the day started.
“There were different discussions about strikers, but I’m not sure how it will play out. I haven’t had an update yet.”
After already missing out on Hwang Hee-Chan, it looked like Leeds would have to cope until January without an extra striker in their squad.
But they have struck in the final stages of the window to add to their squad. Fabrizio Romano is reporting that they are ‘set to sign’ Gnonto from FC Zurich.
Romano has given this transfer the ‘here we go’ treatment as the deal is ‘almost done’.
It is stated that ‘personal terms are agreed’ and now Leeds are ‘waiting for the work permit’ before the transfer can be formally announced.
