HERRIMAN, UTAH – Tacoma Defiance (13-5-4, 46 points) fell 1-0 on the road to Real Monarchs (4-14-3, 15 points) on Friday evening at Zions Bank Stadium. Tate Schmitt scored an early goal for the hosts, who earned their first win against Defiance in three meetings this season.

After clinching the Pacific Division and a playoff berth last weekend, Wade Webber’s side has two matches remaining in the 2022 MLSNP regular season.
