COLUMBIA, S.C. – The University of South Carolina men’s and women’s soccer teams will host a block party outside Stone Stadium prior to their respective matchups with in-state rival Clemson, the Athletics Department announced Friday (Aug. 26). The women will host the Tigers Thursday, September 1, and the men’s match will be Friday, September 2.
Both nights, the block party will begin at 5 p.m. and close prior to kickoff at 7 p.m. The events will take place in the Athletics Village Courtyard, located between the Rice Athletics Center and the Dodie Anderson Academic Enrichment Center. Gamecock fans will enjoy food trucks from Pelican’s SnoBalls, Phantom Chicken and Haute Dog Lady, as well as lawn games and inflatables. The first 200 students who attend the block party each night will receive a t-shirt courtesy of the South Carolina Education Lottery.
A ticket for the game is not required to attend the block party. Season and single-game tickets are on sale now. The best season ticket deal in town is back for the 2022 men’s and women’s soccer season. For only $25 for adults and $10 for youth (17 and under), season ticket holders will receive admission to all men’s and women’s regular-season home games at Stone Stadium.
