Celta Vigo have made a bid for Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton-Diaz.

The 23-year-old Chile international is attracting interest from across Europe as the window draws to a close.

Nice have already offered £10m which was dismissed by Rovers while Everton have him on their list of options too.

Vigo’s offer is understood to be similar to the one proposed by Nice but Blackburn are holding out for more.

Diaz is in the final year of his contract and will not sign a new deal at Ewood Park.

He has admirers at Everton but the Goodison club are juggling a number of options.

They are expected to finalise a £15m deal for Brighton’s Neal Maupay but still want another forward before Thursday’s deadline.

They have an interest in Chelsea’s Armando Broja and Serhou Guirassy of Rennes but Brereton-Diaz remains a possible target.
