Jackson Temple Named to United Soccer Coaches Players To Watch List


KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jackson Temple of the Rutgers University men’s soccer team has been named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Players to Watch forwards list ahead of the start of the 2022 fall season. The organization made the announcement Tuesday afternoon.  

Temple led Rutgers with 14 points to rank seventh in the Big Ten in 16 games played. He was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-North Region Second Team to cap off last year’s slate, for the Scarlet Knights’ highest United Soccer Coaches All-Region award since 2015.  

The senior forward also earned All-Big Ten Second Team praise in 2021, totaling six goals and two assists during the campaign.

Temple finished the fall season on a tear, recording four goals and 10 points over the last four contests. The Scarlet Knights were 4-1 this season when Temple found the back of the net. 

The Millville, Pennsylvania product came up clutch for RU against then-No. 11 Indiana, scoring the game-winning goal in the 70th minute of action for the program’s first win over a ranked opponent since 2015.
