Big Ten Announces Field Hockey, Men's and Women's Soccer Fall Tv Schedule


UNIVERSITY PARK, PA.- The Big Ten Network announced their fall television schedule with Penn State set to be featured at least eight times. 
 
All Penn State teams can be watched on the Big Ten Network, ESPN and ESPNU throughout the year, with the fall breakdown below.
 
Penn State field hockey will have one game on the Big Ten Network, on the road at Rutgers. Men’s soccer will be featured four times this fall with two home games and two away. Women’s soccer will be on the network three times, all three home matches.
 
Field Hockey TV Schedule
Friday, Oct. 28 at Rutgers at 4:00 p.m.
 
The Penn State field hockey team, under the direction of veteran head coach Char Morett-Curtiss, will face Rutgers on the road in its B1G Network telecast. The Nittany Lions and Scarlet Knights will face off on Friday, Oct. 28, at 4 p.m. in Piscataway, N.J. Penn State is coming off a 14-6 season that saw it end the Big Ten regular season with a 6-2 mark and advance to the NCAA Tournament. Morett-Curtiss’s squad returns a veteran roster, including first team All-Americans Mackenzie Allessie and Sophia Gladieux.

Men’s Soccer TV Schedule

Thursday, Aug. 25 vs. URI at 8:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 20 at Maryland at 7:00 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 14 at Indiana at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 25 vs. Rutgers at 8:00 p.m. 

 

The defending Big 10 regular season and tournament Champions will see four matches on national television including two home contests. The first match up on the Big Ten Network will be the Nittany Lions’ regular season home opener against non-conference opponent Rhode Island. The next two matches will be road competitions against Maryland and Indiana. The final regular season home game of the season against Rutgers will be featured on the Big Ten Network to round out the regular season. The Nittany Lions are coming off a 13-7-1 overall, 6-2 conference finish in the 2021 season.

 

Women’s Soccer TV Schedule

Thursday, Aug. 25 vs. West Virginia at 6:00 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 22 vs. Rutgers at 6:00 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 13 vs. Wisconsin at 7:00 p.m.
