It has been a superb pre-season for the north Londoners, who beat Chelsea 4-0 in Orlando last week before winning 6-0 against Sevilla on Saturday in their final friendly before kicking off the Premier League season at Crystal Palace on Friday.

The Gunners had two bids for Raphinha turned down by Leeds United earlier this summer. The Brazilian has since joined Barcelona, but the Premier League club’s initial interest has indicated that Arteta is still in the market for a winger.
