Benjamin Cremaschi Called up to U.S. U-19 Men’s Youth National Team Camp

Inter Miami CF II and U-17 Academy midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi has been called up by the U.S. U-19 Men’s Youth National Team for its upcoming training camp from July 25 through Aug. 2 in Carson, Calif. He is one of 20 total players and one of just seven midfielders invited to the camp.


Cremaschi and every player called to Carson for this camp are also age-eligible for the U-20 MYNT, which just qualified for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia and the 2024 Olympics in Paris with its performance at the 2022 Concacaf U-20 Championship in Honduras.

On the international front, Cremaschi was previously called up by coach Marko Mitrović to the U.S. U-19 Men’s Youth National Team for friendlies against England and Norway in Marbella, Spain, as well as a training camp with the U.S. U-17 team at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson from April 22 and will conclude on May 1.

Cremaschi, 17, shined for the Inter Miami U-17 team throughout the 2022 season, being one of the sides’ leaders at the 2022 Generation adidas Cup back in April, helping the team finish at the top of the U-17 East (South) Division which concluded in June, and being part of the squad that competed at the MLS NEXT Cup U-17 tournament at the end of June and early July.

Cremaschi also broke through at the professional level with Inter Miami CF II this season, making his professional debut and going on to make eight appearances, including five starts, and scoring two goals thus far.

Cremaschi is one of many current and former Inter Miami CF Academy players to be called up to a national team. The list includes: Noah Allen (U.S. U-20 MYNT), Edison Azcona (Dominican Republic senior and youth national teams), Israel Boatwright (Dominican Republic U-20 national team), Dairon Reyes (Cuba senior and youth national teams), Bryan Destin (Haiti U-20 national team), Tyler Austin, Justin Ellis, Santiago Morales and Felipe Valencia (U.S. U-15 MYNT), Logan Batiste and Tyler Hall (U.S. U-17 MYNT), Khobi Thomas (Jamaica U-20 national team), among others.
