COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., – LA Galaxy II’s three-match winning streak came to an end with a 4-2 loss on the road to Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC at Weidner Field on Friday night.

Goal-Scoring Plays


COS – Michee Ngalina (Hadji Barry), 20th minute: Hadji Barry slid a pass behind the LA backline to Michee Ngalina, whose shot from a tight angle was fired into the back of the net.

COS – Hadji Barry, 27th minute: Hadji Barry’s shot from just outside the 18-yard box was curled into the far corner of the net.

LA – Cameron Dunbar (Penalty Kick), 45+3rd minute: After Michael Salazar was fouled inside the box, Cameron Dunbar stepped up to the spot and fired his shot into the bottom corner of the goal.

COS – Elvis Amoh (Michee Ngalina), 58th minute: Avoiding a challenge on the right wing, Michee Ngalina delivered a cross into the six-yard box to Elvis Amoh, who redirected the ball into the back of the net.

LA – Callum Johnson (Axel Picazo), 90+3rd minute: Axel Picazo dribbled down the right flank and delivered a low cross across the box to Callum Johnson, who tapped in from close range at the near post.

COS – Elvis Amoh (Hadji Barry), 90+7th minute: Hadji Barry quickly passed the ball to Elvis Amoh, who found himself behind the LA backline and drilled his shot into the back of the goal.

Postgame Notes

Following the loss to Colorado Springs, LA Galaxy II (9-9-3, 30 points) moved down into sixth place in the Western Conference standings.
