Timbers2 Drop 6-1 Result against Tacoma Defiance at Hillsboro Stadium

HILLSBORO, OR. – Timbers2 suffered a 6-1 defeat at home to the Tacoma Defiance on Sunday night atHillsboro Stadium. Nathan Fogaca scored his first goal of the season for Timbers2, while Pablo Bonilla gained his third assist. Timbers2 will stay home to play the Whitecaps FC 2 on Saturday, July 16th at Hillsboro Stadium in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Goal-Scoring Plays

TAC – Marlon Vargas (free kick), 23rd minute: Vargas was rewarded a direct kick right outside the 18-yard box and finished it to the right top corner.

TAC – Dylan Teves (Ethan Dobbelaere), 37th minute: Dobbelaere beat out defenders and dribbled the ball to the end line, and crossed it inside the box to Teves where he placed the ball in the bottom left corner of the net.

TAC – Ethan Dobbelaere (Dylan Teves), 54th minute: Teves heel passed the ball to Dobbelaere who ran onto it and dribbled inside the box then finished the ball into the bottom left corner of the net.

TAC – Ethan Dobbelaere, 55th minute: Dobbelaere quickly took advantage of the turnover outside the box and finished the ball into the open goal.

POR – Nathan Fogaca (Pablo Bonilla), 57th minute: Bonilla crossed the ball into the box and Fogaca settled the bouncing ball and finished it to the left corner.

TAC – Dylan Teves (Georgi Minoungou), 68th minute: Teves quickly finished the ball from close rangeoff of Minounguo’s cross.

TAC – Joe Hafferty (Valentin Sabella), 79th minute: After a sequence of passes inside the box Haffertyfinished the ball in one touch to the bottom left corner.
