LOS ANGELES – LA Galaxy II earned their 100th all-time USL Championship regular-season victory with a 5-0 win on the road over San Diego Loyal SC on Saturday night. Preston Judd and Cameron Dunbar each tallied two goals and an assist in the shutout win at San Diego.
Galaxy II Run of Form
LA Galaxy II earned their third consecutive win in league play with the victory at San Diego. Notably, LA improved to 4-1-0 in the last five games played dating back to June 15, outscoring the opposition 14-6 during that span. Los Dos rank seventh in the league in goals scored (34), having scored 11 goals in their last three games dating back to June 25.
Preston Judd Loves Scoring Goals
With his two goals and assist in the win over Oakland, Judd ranks tied for second in the USL Championship with 11 goals scored in 18 games played (16 starts) during the 2022 campaign. Notably, Judd has tallied nine goals and one assist in his last seven games played dating back to May 28. Judd moved into sole possession of second place in LA Galaxy II history with 28 goals scored in 50 career regular-season appearances (43 starts) for Galaxy II.

LA – Cameron Dunbar (Penalty Kick), 13th minute: After a handball was whistled inside the box, Cameron Dunbar’s ensuing penalty kick was fired into the bottom right corner of the net.
LA – Preston Judd (Cameron Dunbar), 22nd minute: Jalen Neal delivered a long ball over the top of the defense that found Michael Salazar streaking down to the end line. Salazar cut the ball across the face of goal to Cameron Dunbar, whose first-touch pass was drilled into the back of the net by Preston Judd.
LA – Cameron Dunbar (Preston Judd), 31st minute: Preston Judd was released down the right flank and delivered a floating cross to the back post to Cameron Dunbar, who calmly finished his shot into the roof of the net.
LA – Preston Judd (Michael Salazar), 59th minute: Michael Salazar dribbled by his defender down the right side of the field in transition and cut the ball over to Preston Judd, who tapped in from close range.
LA – Own Goal (Nikko Boxall), 81st minute: Owen Lambe dribbled down the right flank and delivered a low cross across the face of goal that San Diego defender Nikko Boxall redirected into his own goal from point-blank-range.
