Jesse Lingard set for surprise switch abroad, Man Utd eye Nice defender

Jesse Lingard warms up before a Manchester United match.

Jesse Lingard enjoyed his holiday so much, he’s considering moving Stateside…

LINGARD SET TO LISTEN TO MLS OFFERS
Being linked with Everton seems to have prompted Jesse Lingard to consider drastic action…

The England attacker’s options this summer haven’t been as plentiful as he might have hoped when free-agency loomed while his Manchester United contract wound down. West Ham are sniffing, as they always are, but otherwise, it seems like Everton are the only other club to make a formal offer. Which he’s not all that enthused about.

Contrary to some whispers earlier in the week, CBS Sports says Arsenal are also monitoring Gnabry’s situation, with a return to north London a possibility for the 26-year-old.

UNITED, NEWCASTLE AMONG QUARTET EYEING NICE DEFENDER
United are also among the clubs supposedly casting their eye towards Nice and Jean-Clair Todibo.

The former Barcelona centre-back is available for around £17million, which would see Nice double their money after signing the 22-year-old a year ago.

Footmercato says United and Newcastle could make a move for Todibo later in the summer, but Sevilla and Napoli are both being rather more…
