Both players appealed unsuccessfully for second-half penalties as referee John Moss courted controversy during the Championship playoff final on May 29, when Forest beat Town 1-0 to secure promotion to the Premier League.
Forest have signed Troyes right back Giulian Biancone, 22, for £5m and remain in talks for £13m Mainz defender Moussa Niakhate.
