North Carolina FC Hit the Road to Face Greenville Triumph SC in Mid-Week Tilt

North Carolina FC Travel to Face Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC

June 27, 2022 – United Soccer League One (USL1)North Carolina FC News Release

CARY, NC – North Carolina FC will play the first of their two road matches this week on Wednesday, traveling to face the league-leading Greenville Triumph SC for the third time this season on June 29 at Legacy Early College Field in Greenville, SC. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET, and the match will stream live on ESPN+.

Last Time Out

Despite a late push to equalize, North Carolina FC fell just short of USL League One newcomer Central Valley Fuego FC last Saturday, ending NCFC’s four-game unbeaten streak. The match featured goals from Oalex Anderson and USL League One Golden Boot leader Garrett McLaughlin, with Jaden Servania adding the assist on Anderson’s goal and Max Flick tallying the assist on McLaughlin’s goal.

“[I’m] disappointed with the result and felt we definitely needed to be better in critical moments of the game,” Head Coach John Bradford said. “Obviously the deflection on their first goal caught us out of position, and credit to them on a great strike, but the next two goals came from transition directly after quality chances for us on the other end.”
