FC Dallas Earns Hard-Fought Point on the Road in 2-2 Draw with Austin FC

Austin, TX – FC Dallas (7-4-5, 26 points) earned a road point with a 2-2 draw against Austin FC (8-4-4, 28 points) thanks to goals from Paul Arriola and Brandon Servania at Q2 Stadium on Saturday night.


UNBEATEN AGAINST AUSTIN

FC Dallas improves to a 3-0-1 record with 10 goals scored and six goals conceded in four matches played against in-state rival Austin FC.

PAUL’S HOT STREAK

Winger Paul Arriola has scored seven out of the last 10 league goals for FC Dallas. Six of the seven goals Arriola has scored have come in the second half. He has also scored eight goals in his last eight matches played for FC Dallas and USMNT. Arriola now has a career-high eight goals in league play in 2022 through just 15 games with Dallas. Arriola’s previous career-high was seven goals scored in 25 matches with D.C. United in 2018.

Brandon Servania’s goal in the 68th minute of the match means that FC Dallas now has six goals scored from substitutes this year. The team is one goal away from tying the LA Galaxy in second place. LA has seven goals from substitutes in 2022. LAFC leads MLS with 10 goals scored from substitute players.
