HILLSBORO, Ore. – Timbers2 notched a 2-1 win over Houston Dynamo 2 on Sunday night at Hillsboro Stadium. After conceding a penalty kick early in the match, Dawson McCartney tallied a late equalizer for T2, followed by a stoppage-time winner from Zac McGraw. It marked T2’s first win in MLS Next Pro competition.

HOU – Papa Ndoye (penalty kick), 15th minute: Papa Ndoye converted a penalty kick after Portland committed a foul inside the box.
POR – Dawson McCartney (Selmir Miscic), 80th minute: Selmir Miscic dribbled the ball outside of the 18-yard box and sent a diagonal cross towards the back post, finding Dawson McCartney who put the ballin the back of the net with a diving header.
