Manchester United have reportedly ‘outbid Barcelona’ for Raphinha, with Arsenal also ‘back in the race’ for the Leeds star.
The Brazil international played a huge part in Leeds avoiding relegation from the Premier League last term, scoring 11 league goals in 2021-22 as the Yorkshire club finished 17th, three points above the drop zone.

Barcelona have been linked with Raphinha for some time and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims the Catalans have had a ‘full agreement’ on a five year deal with his agent Deco since February.

But his €55m price tag is proving to be the sticking point, with Leeds unwilling to negotiate that fee.
Sport (via Express) claim that Man United have ‘outbid’ Barcelona and will attempt to lure Raphinha to Old Trafford this summer, though Romano names Arsenal as the side that are back in contention for the 25-year-old.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta – who has reportedly been handed a £215m war chest this summer – is eager to bring Raphinha to the Emirates this summer.
But it could be a tough sell with Raphinha wanting his ‘dream’ move to Barcelona, who – unlike Arsenal and Man United – will be competing in the Champions League next season.
But the Gunners – who have already completed the £34m signing of Fabio Vieira from Porto – have been told by Wilshere that the signing of Raphinha would be a “good one”.
“For someone who’s only been in England for two years, he’s got a lot of experience,” he said.
“He came to England and just clicked straight away.
“He was in a relegation battle last year so he knows he’s up for a fight.
“I think he’d be a good one for Arsenal. He’ll be expensive, of course he will.”
