COLLEGE PARK, MD — Amanda Schafer, who was a team captain and four-year starter on defense at the University of Rhode Island, has signed to play at Maryland as a graduate student. Schafer started 50 games for the Rams during her four years. She graduated with a degree in Communications from Rhode Island will pursue a Master’s degree at Maryland.
