Ronaldo ‘available again’ as Man Utd make ‘most important offer’ for key Arsenal target

Man Utd striker Cristiano Ronaldo kicks the air after missing a chance

Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Man Utd for Real Madrid in the summer, while the Red Devils have made an offer for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, according to reports.

Ronaldo has been in good goalscoring form for the Red Devils this term, bagging 24 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions.

There has been some criticism that he hasn’t fit in the system under both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick, while others have questioned his overall performances in a Man Utd shirt.

And now Spanish publication AS (via Sport Witness) insist that Ronaldo is now ‘available again’ as Real Madrid look for a forward after he ended up choosing Man Utd over the La Liga outfit last summer.

Los Blancos are understood to have ‘slammed on the brakes’ during negotiations last summer but now they’ve missed out on a deal for Kylian Mbappe they could renew their interest.

The report adds that Ronaldo’s ‘signing would not imply a monumental operation’ for Real Madrid with the Portugal international sharing a good relationship with Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti.

And Man Utd could be lining a replacement up with Italian outlet La Repubblica claiming that the Red Devils have made the ‘most important offer’ so far for Napoli striker Osimhen.

The Nigeria international has scored 18 goals in 32 matchs this season in all competitions and has been attracting interest from numerous clubs.

It was reported over the weekend that Premier League side Arsenal had a club-record bid of £76m turned down for Osimhen with Mikel Arteta hoping to bring in a couple of strikers this summer.
