Juventus sporting director Federico Cherubini has reportedly travelled to London to meet with Gabriel’s representatives over a potential move to Turin.

The Arsenal centre back has been attracting a lot of interest in recent weeks following a superb season at the Emirates and is now a target for Juventus.

The Italian giants are in the market for a new centre back, given that Giorgio Chiellini, 37, will leave the club this summer after 18 years at the club.

And according to Italian news outlets Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport, Juve have sent Cherubini to discuss a deal with the Brazilian defender’s agents.

The reports are claiming that Juve are keen to reach an agreement quickly and could consider sending players in the opposite direction to get it over the line.

However, it is claimed that Arsenal would want at least £42million (€50m) for Gabriel, having bought him from Lille for £27m two years ago.
