Sasa Kalajdzic is unlikely to stay at Stuttgart this summer, their sporting director has revealed.

The 24-year-old striker has 24 goals in 57 appearances for the club, but interest from Bayern Munich may spell an end to his time with the Swabians.

Kalajdzic has spent three years with Stuttgart, gaining promotion to the Bundesliga in his first season before surviving two relegation battles.

He scored a vital opener against FC Koln on the final day of the season to keep Stuttgart out of the relegation play-off on goal difference.

Standing at 6ft 7in, Kalajdzic has understandably been compared to former striker and Sportsmail columnist Peter Crouch.

‘It would be outstanding if we could keep him as a player and as a person. But in my opinion, that’s not very likely,’ Stuttgart’s sporting director Sven Mislintat told SportBild.

‘Sasa showed last season, in the second half of the season and at the European Championship, that he is one of the absolute top central strikers in Europe.’
