Former England international Paul Robinson has tipped versatile Liverpool midfielder James Milner to spend at least one season at Anfield.
Milner, who has started in central midfield and at right-back this season, has been a useful squad player for Jurgen Klopp this campaign as they continue to chase an unprecedented Quadruple.
The 36-year-old is out of contract in a couple of months’ time and Klopp recently suggested that a new deal was on the table as he said that “Milly decides” his own future.

And Robinson expects Milner to sign a new contract at Liverpool with the former Leeds United midfielder set to be at Anfield for a while longer.
Robinson told Football Insider: “Milner is an example to all young, aspiring footballers. He shows you how to look after yourself, keep fit and play at the top level for your entire career.
“I think he will sign another contract. I think he is capable of playing for at least another year.
“He is not just there for his leadership and experience. He showed against Newcastle that he still has a lot to give on the pitch as well. I don’t think he’s covering any less ground than he did in the past. He is still making tackles and spotting key passes. Everything is what you would expect.
“I would be surprised if he doesn’t play more than one more season for Liverpool.”
Milner’s last start was in a 1-0 victory over Newcastle United at the end of April and Klopp compared him to Real Madrid legend Luka Modric after the match.
When asked whether he had ever come across a fitter 36-year-old, the Liverpool boss said: “No, but it would be interesting to look at Luka Modric. Is he not 36 as well? It was obviously a good generation. It’s difficult to be fitter than Milly.
